About PrideWorks

Every year, some 600 lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth, their educators, parents and allies flock to Westchester for the annual PrideWorks Conference.

This full day educational conference promotes a positive message and experience for our lower Hudson Valley LGBT youth. Through seminars and speakers addressing such topics as healthy relationships, coming out, anti-bullying and building a gay-straight alliance, young people go back to their communities with the knowledge that they can advocate for themselves, accept themselves and work on creating a positive environment for all. Educators and youth workers receive training on how to create safe spaces for all students.
